You’re ready for more.

The couples I see, struggle as your relationship might, despite their commitment, self-awareness, and love for each other. The truth is, maintaining healthy relationships can be complex.

When they initially seek help, they often sense that something is “off” in their dynamic. Conversations easily escalate into heated arguments, and they may find it difficult to express or receive affection. In some cases, sex is their main connection but it’s been a while since they’ve had fun together.

Many struggle to communicate clearly and openly for fear of being judged. They learn to hold stuff in and explode later so their true dreams for their marriage remain unspoken.

They've experimented with various strategies, such as check-ins and timeouts, and may have even sought clergy counseling. Still, nothing seems to work consistently. It pains them to see that their marriage is so complicated when other areas of their lives are thriving.

For some individuals, their self-doubt and past relationship history gets in the way of achieving the relationship they want. They aren’t the kind of friends or parents they want to be.

They feel like they’re failing at being a great partner and their confidence in changing for the better is slowly drifting away.

Before they came to see me, they feared their relationship was beyond help. They worried their current negative habits weren’t going to change because some have tried couples therapy already and some are currently in individual counseling.

I guide couples towards reconnecting

Like my clients, you deserve to experience a relationship where happiness is a result of mutual understanding, appreciation, and working together at reaching common goals.

I believe that having fun and enjoying intimacy (emotional, sexual, physical) with your partner is attainable.

My goal is to guide couples as they work through what’s holding them back from being who they aspire to be.… maybe make sure it’s also realistic!

Couples therapy isn’t:

  • Being told what role each person in the relationship is supposed to have

  • Me downplaying your attempted solutions to work through conflict

  • Me picking sides with the person who makes the most “sense” in the session

  • Getting all the answers in a session and everything is fixed forever
